"The best thing about the future is that it only comes one day at a time" - Abe Lincoln

My name is Hannah Williams, I am a REPUBLICAN graduate of the Arizona State University Political Science program! I live in Mesa, AZ and am trying to find my future one day at a time. I live with my little man Matrix and my three turtles Indy, Guy and Ross and am loving my new freedom from school. Hopefully I'll end up where I am supposed to be, and this is my journey.

Life and Old Promises

Howdy y'all, time to play catch-up once again. First to recent changes, next to pics of Disneyland!!

Since Graduation I have been through a number of things. I got a job at the Phoenix Public Library in October. Worked two jobs until December then quit the Wish. Got a job at the end of Feb. for the University of PhoenixQuit the library two weeks early, hung out with my babies and went to DISNEYLAND with my Mom, Brother and Josh. (I don't have these Pictures yet and I am not going to promise them :) .) Started the new job yesterday and so far it is awesome, I am so excited!!

Other than my new job not much has been going on.  We have had one new addition to our family however, his name is Odd.
Matrix is the black kitty in case you forgot and that precious little white and orange (I am giving you the colors since it is blk and white) is Odd.  I named him after one of my favorite characters by Dean Koontz, but the name suits him as well.

It has been a fun year, I hope it continues to get better. I have set new goals and feel like I will attain them soon.  I feel a lot more grown up lately and am enjoying my life :).

Josh is such an amazing man, and I am so lucky to have him in my life!!!

Matrix is Two

Yes Matrix is officially two years old, I am a little late on this post due to the fact that I am pretty sure his birthday is around the first week of August but at least I am getting it in the same month! Since I got him as just a wee little lad he has met dozens of friends and lived in a number of different places. He had Rosco over around his birthday time, so I suppose we can say that is how we celebrated, having a week long sleepover because Rachel went out of town.
I tell you what though, I don't know what I would have done over the past few years without this little guy, I truly believe cats are therapy for the soul.  Especially Matrix, he is so social and now that it is just the two of us again I remember how much we really need each other.
So even though he will never read this, because he is a cat I just wanted to say that I will be forever grateful for the day this damn cat was born, he makes my sad days happier, and my happy days complete.

Life is Changing

Just a brief update... because it has been so long since I last posted anything (pictures from Disneyland and the past few months will come once I find my camera).  But I guess the biggest news is that I GRADUATED FROM ASU!!!!  My ceremony was in May and it was SUPER FUN (and hot), as I said pictures will come but the other big news is that I am moving in a few short days (why I can't particularly locate my camera) and I GOT A PROMOTION!!  I am not moving very far from where I am now, but it is still going to be very bittersweet to not be living in the ASU area any more because I love it here so much.  The good news is that my brother and I will be living in the same apartment complex because he signed a few months ago as one of the new catchers for MCC! It is going to make this new adjustment much easier for both of us I hope.  I am so excited to move although I will miss my roommate and Matrix is going to miss the heck out of RoscoRachel just got engaged at the end of May and this will be her last chance ever to live on her own, and having lived alone before I highly recommend it to those of us who are still unmarried.  I am (sadly) still not engaged, and Josh and I have decided to put talk of this off until both of us are a little more settled, but our life together is just as good as it ever has been.  On Tuesday the 19th of this month we will have officially been together for ONE WHOLE YEAR!!! I am so glad that I have found someone as wonderful as he is, every single day I feel like I am spoiled by him, not to mention he and I decided the other day that he would adopt our little baby Matrix and has now become his daddy, such a lucky little kitty man (I know what you are thinking, those of you reading this **eye-roll** "people and their pets").  So like I said lots of changes to my life, not to mention graduation in May and Harry Potter finale in July... my childhood has officially ended, such a sad day.  I have actually yet to see the Harry Potter finale which is another sad ordeal in and of itself, due to the fact that I have seen every single other Harry Potter midnight showing premier that has come out, but work tends to screw up a lot of things.  Just wanted to catch up on my little blog, pictures of the new home and graduation and everything else once I get settled in.  Till next time!

Josh Graduated and Matrix Got Fixed

Yesterday was a very eventful day, Joshua graduated from Phlebotomy school and Matrix finally got fixed!  Poor thing I almost cried when I left him at the Humane Society, he looked so scared and I was afraid he was going to hate me forever when we got home.  When I picked him up though he was so excited to be leaving and he even stumbled up into the front seat of my car to lay in my lap all the way home.  He was pretty drugged up for the first few hours and kept running into walls with his stupid e-collar, and then he would stand and stare at the thing he ran into, not to mention he walked backwards most of yesterday.  He has only been slightly sick since I brought him home and he hasn't sprayed once!  I can't wait until Monday though when I can take the collar off and see how he really does inside.  This was all spurred from my neighbor calling and complaining about him, telling me that if he didn't get fixed this week she was going to crate him and take him somewhere else.  I am glad that it is done though, finally!  Josh's graduation was super fun.  There were only about twenty people in his class so it was small and the school provided a beautiful cake and refreshments.  He was so happy to finally be certified for phlebotomy, and done with his teacher (they didn't really see eye to eye).  He has drawn my blood twice and done an excellent job, actually, the best I have ever had when it comes to getting my blood drawn.  His friend Matt was in the class with him, I let him draw my blood too, and the bruise that followed almost had Josh beating him up, haha!  My graduation is around the corner the next few weeks are going to be brutal but finals week should be pretty easy.  My graduation date is Friday, May 13, 2011 at the Wells Fargo Arena at 8:00 a.m. and we are having lunch at Monti's steak house after!  I have also applied for a few more jobs, hopefully something will work out soon!  I don't remember what I posted last time but my brother has signed with Mesa Community college for baseball! He will be attending both MCC and ASU, and I am so excited to have him down here with me! If anyone is in town on May 13 and wants to stop by my graduation or the after party at 11:30 you should.  I don't have many addresses and I only got 50 announcements but whoever wants to come is welcome! I don't have my Dinseyland pics up yet but I will be doing that eventually, probably after I get done with scool!

Matrix after surgery in the car, his eyes look all wet like he was crying. :(
He laid almost just like that all the way home

Christmas, New Year etc...

It's been awhile since I've posted anything but I just wanted to bring my lonely page up to date, and make another spot to save some of my pictures.  Finals in December went better than expected and I actually managed (much to my surprise) to land mostly B's and a few A's so not a bad report card all things considering.  I am currently on track to graduate in May! I can't remember being this excited even for my own high school graduation.  May will be a stressful month though, It is one of my dad's busiest times at work and my brother will also be graduating at the end of may, along with finals and the start of just a few more credits in order for me to receive my actual diploma!  But before then I am just trying to enjoy my last few bitter-sweet months here at ASU.  Josh and I have a spring break trip planned for Disneyland, it's his first time and I am so excited to be going with someone as high energy as I am.  Spring break will also be a time of graduation preparation like some senior pics (which I will probably post, hopefully a few con mi gato) and ordering announcements, cap and gown and registering. I will also be having a garage sale during spring break at my parent's house in Mesa in case any of you valley people are interested :).  The next few months will be hectic but fun!  I have been applying for a lot of jobs recently and I am hoping that one of them works out very soon.  Here are some pictures of the last few months.
